THE STAMPEDE EXPERIENCE

The Stampede kicks off with the Stampede Parade – a two-hour celebration of western heritage, with approximately 350,000 live spectators and millions more watching on television.  In addition to the Parade there will be many other performance opportunities for your group.  These events and performance opportunities include free pancake breakfasts, rodeo events, crowd-gathering shows on the steps of the Saddledome arena, staged events at Olympic Plaza and many more.  During your stay, you also will take a memorable trip to Lake Louise and Banff and explore the majestic Canadian Rockies.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome to Calgary
• Arrive
• Check into Hotel
• Welcome Dinner
 
Day 2 – Parade / Stampede Grounds
• Calgary Stampede Parade participation
• Sightseeing – Visit the grounds and exhibitions of the “Greatest Outdoor Show On Earth”
 
Day 3 – Performance / Sightseeing
• Performance – Entertain at one Calgary’s many Stampede Breakfasts
• Competition – Optional
• Sightseeing – Visit the grounds and watch the Chuckwagon Races & Grandstand Show 
 
Day 4 – Banff / Lake Louise
• Sightseeing – Lake Louise / Banff / Upper Hot Springs
 
Day 5 – Performance
• Performance – variety of performance options will be available for your final day
• Farewell Dinner
 
Day 6 – Departure Day
• Depart for home

accommodation

The accommodation is based on quad occupancy.  Triple, twin, and single supplements available upon request.

Transportation

The festival will provide motor coach transportation throughout your visit. Additionally, the Festival will provide professional instrument storage and transportation during the tour.

EXTEND YOUR STAY

There are options to extend your time in Canada with additional performance and sightseeing opportunities.  You can request additional nights either before or after the festival to further explore this amazing country.
